efficient vehicle. But even with a old rusty
one you can save gas and do something
for the environment.
Save up to 20 % of your
gas consumption
The best thing is to avoid to use the car.
Maybe you can ride the bike or use the public
transportation system like the Bus, subway
or train. Try to find someone who can share
a car with you on the way to work or school.
If you use your car.
Remove everything redundant from your car. If your car is lighter it will use less gas.
Accelerate gentle and if you drive a car with manual shift change the gear early and try to
drive with
low rpm. Step on the coupling if youīre going downhill or you have to stop anyways.
Drive speed limit and steadily. Slowing down or speeding up wastes a lot fuel.
Accelerate before you reach a hill, not while you īre on it.
If you donīt really need your AC turn it off.
If you donīt drive turn the engine off. For example while you waiting to pick up someone.
Check youīre tieres if theyīre still good and control air pressure once a month.
The correct air pressure will increase the lifetime of your tires.
A oilchange donīt cost the world and it increase the engine power and decrease the gas
consumption.
Itīll also help to change oil filter and the gas filter.
Maintenance of the machine from time to time will keep your car in a good shape.
Consider to buy new or a used energy efficient vehicle.
